Basketball Recap: Allen East Comes Up Short

Allen East was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost to the Emmanuel Christian Warriors on the road by a 49-35 margin. The Mustangs were not able to make up for their loss to the Warriors from their previous meeting back in January of 2024.

Allen East's defeat dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Emmanuel Christian, the victory made it two in a row for them and also bumps their season record up to 6-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Allen East will square off against Liberty-Benton at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Emmanuel Christian, they will face off against Ottawa Hills at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday.
