Flag Football Recap: Janiyah Clark Leads Druid Hills' Defense on Monday

While Druid Hills didn't have the best season last year (they finished 8-10), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They came out on top against the Miller Grove Wolverines by a score of 14-6 on Monday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Red Devils.

Druid Hills didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Janiyah Clark, Marcavia Johnson, and Hargrove picked up one apiece. Hargrove got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Druid Hills' victory bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Miller Grove, their loss was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 1-10.

Druid Hills has already played their next game, a 19-0 defeat against Decatur on the 30th. As for Miller Grove, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Salem at 7:30 p.m. on the 6th.
