Baseball Recap: Warren Makes It Three in a Row at Home

Warren won the last time they faced Hardin and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Warriors came out on top against the Hornets by a score of 6-3. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Warriors.

Levi Ledbetter spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered three earned runs on five hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two walks in seven consecutive appearances.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Easton Evans, who went 1-for-2 with one home run and two RBI. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in February. Cyrus Cimei was another key player, scoring a run while going 2-for-4.

Warren's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-10. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.7 runs on average over those games. As for Hardin, the defeat snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 12-7 record.

Warren will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Hornets: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
