Forest Park scored the most points they've had this season on Saturday, but it wasn't enough. They took a 76-70 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Banneker Trojans. The Panthers have struggled against the Trojans recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Despite the loss, Forest Park still got an impressive performance from Derrick Green, who dropped a double-double with 26 points and ten rebounds. That was a full 37.1% of the Panthers' points, marking the third time in a row Green has posted more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Noah Shy, who scored 15 points.

Forest Park's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Banneker, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.

Forest Park and Banneker will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next matchups. The next time the Panthers see the court they'll take on Pace Academy at 7:00 p.m. on December 2. As for Banneker, their break will end when they face Druid Hills at 7:30 p.m. on December 5.
