Soccer Recap: South Aiken Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for South Aiken, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Thursday. They walked away with a 4-2 victory over the Brookland-Cayce Bearcats on Monday. It was an even better day for Savvas Chionakis as he scored three goals for his team.

South Aiken's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-4. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 20 goals over those three contests. As for Brookland-Cayce, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-4.

South Aiken wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next matchup, an 8-1 victory against Airport on the 19th. As for Brookland-Cayce, they will square off against A.C. Flora at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. A.C. Flora will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Brookland-Cayce surely won't give up without a fight.
