Recap: Lighthouse Baptist Academy Ambassadors vs. Central Christian Saints
It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact the Lighthouse Baptist Academy Ambassadors can now relate to. They took a 46-35 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Saints on Friday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Lighthouse Baptist Academy of the 52-34 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in January.
Central Christian found their leader in underclassman Jarrod Harmon, who scored 21 points along with six rebounds and five assists. Harmon has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last 11 times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Isaac Argo, who scored six points along with two steals.
Lighthouse Baptist Academy dropped their record down to 5-7 with that loss, which was their third straight on the road. As for Central Christian, the victory (which was their 11th in a row) raised their record to 19-5.
Lighthouse Baptist Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Central Christian, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 72-65 loss vs. Jones Christian Academy on the 10th.
