Colbert County and Gordo squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Colbert County had to settle for second. They came up short against the Green Wave, falling 49-29. The Indians' loss signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

Keshaun Jones threw for 58 yards and one touchdown. Sir Miller was his top target, picking up 77 receiving yards. On the ground, Sean Blevins rushed for 81 yards and one TD.

It was another big night for Ryder Robertson, who rushed for 203 yards and four scores for Gordo.

Colbert County's defeat dropped their record down to 8-4. As for Gordo, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-1.

Colbert County does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Gordo, they will challenge Piedmont at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Green Wave will need to watch out since the Bulldogs have now posted at least 31 points in their last 11 games.
