Football Game Recap: Rockcastle County vs. Russell County

After a disappointing 6 points in their last contest, Rockcastle County made sure to put some points up on the board against Russell County on Friday. Rockcastle County dodged a bullet, finishing off Russell County 36-35. That result was just more of the same for Rockcastle County, who also won the last time these teams played.

The win bumped Rockcastle County's record up to 2-4. The loss dropped Russell County's record to 3-4.

Next week Rockcastle County take on Clay County at 7:30 PM. Clay County are limping into the match on a four-game losing streak. As for Russell County, they will face off against Wayne County. Given that they both suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.
