It was a good run, but Paradise unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell 65-56 to the Whitesboro Bearcats. The Panthers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bearcats apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February of 2024.

Paradise's loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 18-6. As for Whitesboro, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 20-7 record this season.

Paradise will be playing at home against Valley View at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Paradise is facing Valley View at the right time seeing as Valley View is stuck on a seven-game losing streak. As for Whitesboro, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Whitesboro Bearcats take on the Callisburg Wildcats at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Whitesboro's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last five contests.
