Soccer Game Preview: Winnetonka vs. Grandview

Winnetonka is 2-8 against Grandview since September of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Monday. The Griffins will host the Bulldogs at 6:30 p.m. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Winnetonka's offense. They lost 6-0 to Kearney on Wednesday. That's two games in a row now that Winnetonka have lost by exactly six goals.

Meanwhile, Grandview also failed to score in their most recent game. They came up short against East last Tuesday, falling 6-0. While losing is never fun, Grandview can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Missouri soccer rankings (they are ranked 166th, while East are ranked 49th).

Winnetonka's loss dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Grandview, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-4.
