Baseball Recap: Shepherd Hill Regional Takes a Loss

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Shepherd Hill Regional's offense. They fell just short of the Hudson Hawks by a score of 2-0 on Wednesday. The Rams were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Hawks apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.

This is the second loss in a row for Shepherd Hill Regional and nudges their season record down to 1-2. Even worse, they were so close both times: the losses came by an average of only 1.5 runs. As for Hudson, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Shepherd Hill Regional will square off against Marlborough at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Hudson, they will take on North Middlesex Regional at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
