The Casa Roble Rams will challenge the Sutter Huskies at 4:15 p.m. on Monday. Both teams are coming into the game red-hot, with Casa Roble sitting on three straight victories and Sutter on nine.
Casa Roble's pitching crew heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They were the clear victors by a 14-0 margin over Natomas. With that win, the Rams brought their scoring average up to 6.8 runs per game.

Max Ogden made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He also tossed no walks, which is notable because Casa Roble is undefeated when he allows at most two walks, but 2-3 otherwise. Ogden was also big at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-4.
In other batting news, Ian Peatross was a standout: he scored two runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-2. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in March of 2024. Another player making a difference was Gage Duncan, who scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances.
Casa Roble always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .590. They are a perfect 3-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.
Meanwhile, Sutter got the win against El Camino on Friday by a conclusive 11-0. The Huskies might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four contests by six runs or more this season.
Jace Cummins looked comfortable as he tossed 2.2 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits.
At the plate, Sutter got a big performance out of Ezra Hilleary, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-2. Jonny Munger was another key player, scoring two runs while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances.
Sutter pushed their record up to 9-0 with the victory, which was their 18th straight at home dating back to last season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.8 runs on average over those games. As for Casa Roble, their victory bumped their record up to 5-3.
Casa Roble skirted past Sutter 3-2 when the teams last played back in April of 2024. Will Casa Roble repeat their success, or does Sutter has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
