Volleyball Recap: Hialeah Takes a Loss

Hialeah was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 18th straight defeat dating back to last season. They fell 3-1 to the American Patriots. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Thoroughbreds of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-14, 25-8, 27-29, 25-9.

Hialeah's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for American, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Coming up, Hialeah will welcome Homestead at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. American will be paying especially close attention to the Thoroughbreds' matchup: after the Thoroughbreds face off against the Broncos, they'll take on American again at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
