Basketball Game Preview: People's Prep vs. American History Eagles

People's Prep will kick their season off against the American History Eagles on Thursday. Tip off is scheduled at 4:00 p.m.

American History will roll into the game after a wild two-game stretch: they only put up 21 points two weeks ago, then bounced right back against Academy Charter on Friday. American History took their contest with ease, bagging a 59-21 victory over Academy Charter. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 44-9.

American History's win ended a three-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 4-1.

As for People's Prep, they've got a clean slate this season. Last year, they finished 0-12.

People's Prep took a serious blow against American History in their previous meeting back in February of 2024, falling 59-24. Can People's Prep avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
