Football Recap: George Walton Academy Skates Past the King's Academy with Ease + How To Watch

George Walton Academy strolled into their game on Friday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They breezed past The King's Academy Knights to the tune of 47-14. Considering the Bulldogs have won three contests by more than 22 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

George Walton Academy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Aj Dillard led the charge by throwing for 172 yards and two TDs on only six passes, while also rushing for 48 yards and one score. That's the most passing yards Dillard has posted since back in September of 2024. Speaking of playmakers, who could forget Caleb Post, who went all the way with a kickoff return for a touchdown.

George Walton Academy didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Mac Maughon and London Fluellen. Maughon got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Despite the loss, The King's Academy still got an impressive performance from Jaxon Bone, who rushed for 163 yards and a pair of touchdowns while picking up 7.4 yards per carry. Bone's longest rush was for an incredible 73 yards.

George Walton Academy's win bumped their record up to 4-0. As for The King's Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-3.
