Soccer Preview: Plainfield South vs. Aurora East        
        
		
             The Plainfield South Cougars will venture away from home to  face off against the Aurora East Tomcats  at 10:00  a.m.  on Saturday. Plainfield South's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for 13 straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.
 Plainfield South's offense might be in the hot seat  on Saturday considering what happened against Romeoville  on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Spartans by a score of  1-0. While losing is never fun, the Cougars can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage  in MaxPreps' Illinois soccer rankings  (they are ranked 300th, while the Spartans are ranked 58th).
 Meanwhile, Aurora East hasn't lost a  match since October 1st, a trend which continued in their latest game  on Wednesday. They and Ridgewood finished up their  game with  a  3-3 draw. While a more conclusive result would've been nice, the Tomcats got plenty of practice considering the match was the highest-scoring  draw the team's played all season.

 Plainfield South's defeat dropped their record down to 1-16-1. Aurora East's  draw gives them a new season record of 8-7-5.
