Volleyball Recap: Golden Gate's Losing Streak Snapped at Six Games

Golden Gate came into Monday's match having lost six straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Naples Classical Academy on Monday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 on September 2nd.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Golden Gate was: they took every set by at least 11 points. The final score came out to 25-9, 25-5, 25-14.

Golden Gate's win bumped their record up to 6-7. As for Naples Classical, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-10.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Golden Gate will venture away from home to face off against Everglades City at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Naples Classical, they will face off against Immokalee at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
