Basketball Game Preview: Sandusky Blue Streaks vs. Norwalk Truckers

Having just played yesterday, the Sandusky Blue Streaks will head out on the road to face off against the Norwalk Truckers at 5:45 p.m. on Saturday. Sandusky knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past five contests -- so hopefully Norwalk likes a good challenge.

Sandusky will head out to face Norwalk after giving up their first home loss of the season on Friday. Sandusky took a 90-76 bruising from Richmond Heights. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Friday (61), the Blue Streaks still had to take the loss.

Meanwhile, it may have taken overtime to finish the job, but Norwalk ultimately got the result they hoped for on Thursday. They snuck past Vermilion with a 52-48 victory.

Norwalk's win bumped their record up to 6-9. As for Sandusky, their loss ended a six-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-5.

Sandusky took their victory against Norwalk in their previous matchup back in December of 2024 by a conclusive 73-50. The rematch might be a little tougher for Sandusky since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
