Soccer Game Preview: Northern Durham vs. East Chapel Hill + How To Watch

Northern Durham is 0-9-1 against East Chapel Hill since October of 2019 but things could change on Tuesday. The Knights will host the Wildcats at 6:45 p.m.

Northern Durham came up short against Excelsior Classical Academy on Friday, falling 4-1. While losing is never fun, Northern Durham can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 373rd, while Excelsior Classical Academy are ranked 92nd).

Meanwhile, East Chapel Hill had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 3.2 goals) and they went ahead and made it six on Thursday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Tigers.

Northern Durham's defeat dropped their record down to 3-8-1. As for East Chapel Hill, their victory bumped their record up to 9-1.

Northern Durham couldn't quite get it done against East Chapel Hill when the teams last played back in November of 2024 as they fell 3-1. Can the Knights avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
