Volleyball Game Preview: Saugus Centurions vs. Canyon Cowboys

The Saugus Centurions will square off against the Canyon Cowboys at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams are coming into the match red-hot, with Saugus sitting on four straight victories and Canyon on five.

Last Tuesday, Saugus was able to grind out a solid win over Castaic, taking the game 3-1.

Saugus had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 19-25, 25-20, 25-20, 25-8.

Meanwhile, Canyon got the win against Hart on Tuesday by a conclusive 3-0.

Canyon was especially dominant in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 27-25, 25-13.

Canyon pushed their record up to 16-4 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Saugus, they now have a winning record of 10-9.
