Volleyball Recap: Sacramento Country Day Starts Season with Win at Home

Sacramento Country Day gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Tuesday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Golden Sierra Grizzlies.

Sacramento Country Day had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 22-25, 25-23, 25-21, 25-17.

Looking ahead, Sacramento Country Day will square off against Pine Hills Adventist at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Golden Sierra will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Natomas at 6:00 p.m. on March 14th.
