Brookfield East extended their winning streak to five games thanks to a huge performance from Amorina Compean-Costello. The Spartans walked away with a 2-0 win over the Muskego Warriors on Saturday thanks in part to Compean-Costello, who had 19 digs and one assist. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last eight games she's played.

Muskego's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Ellie Vantholen, who had 14 digs and two assists, and Julia Nelson, who had seven assists and five digs. Vantholen also served an ace, marking her first of the season.

Brookfield East's victory bumped their record up to 33-9. As for Muskego, their loss dropped their record down to 14-18.

Brookfield East has already played their next match, a 2-1 win against Brookfield Central on the 11th. As for Muskego, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Mukwonago on the 11th.
