Softball Game Preview: Osakis Silverstreaks vs. Long Prairie-Grey Eagle Thunder

The Osakis Silverstreaks will square off against the Long Prairie-Grey Eagle Thunder at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Long Prairie-Grey Eagle took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Osakis, who comes in off a win.

Osakis took a six-run loss the last time they faced off against Upsala, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Silverstreaks narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Cardinals 17-16. The high-scoring effort was just what the Silverstreaks needed considering they were shut out in their previous match.

Meanwhile, Long Prairie-Grey Eagle came up short against Browerville on Tuesday, falling 15-9.

Osakis' first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Long Prairie-Grey Eagle, they now also have a losing record of 1-2.
