Basketball Recap: Goodman-Pembine Comes Up Short

Goodman-Pembine was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 58-51 to the Gillett Tigers. The Falcons were not able to make up for their loss to the Tigers from their previous meeting back in January of 2023.

Goodman-Pembine's defeat dropped their record down to 3-14. As for Gillett, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 8-8-1.

Goodman-Pembine has already played their next match (against Crandon), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Gillett will head out to challenge Wausaukee at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Gillett knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past five contests -- so hopefully Wausaukee likes a good challenge.
