After only two runs in their last game, Coalfield made sure to put some runs up on the board against Sunbright on Tuesday. The Yellow Jackets put the hurt on the Tigers with a sharp 24-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Yellow Jackets, who have now won 18 contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Coalfield let Jorden Steinhauer and Jackson Treece run wild. Steinhauer went 2-for-4 with one home run, six RBI, and four runs, while Treece went a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, four RBI, and one triple. Those four runs gave Steinhauer a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Luke Treece, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with four runs, one stolen base, and one double.

Coalfield always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .765. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Sunbright only posted an OBP of .000.

Coalfield's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 22-6. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.3 runs on average over those games. As for Sunbright, with the defeat, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 3-14.

As of now, neither Coalfield nor the Tigers have any future games scheduled.
