Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Greenwood). They came out on top against the Mauldin Mavericks by a score of 18-14 on Thursday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 15-14 back in March.

Greenwood's win ended a six-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-13. As for Mauldin, they dropped their record down to 1-11 with the defeat, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Greenwood is set to challenge their familiar foe Greenville at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Mauldin will take on rival Easley at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
