Volleyball Recap: Grant Snags 11th Victory in Last 13 Games

Grant lost to Zion Christian back in October of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Saturday. The Tigers walked away with a 2-0 win over the Mountaineers.

Grant found their leader in sophomore Longcore Emma, who had seven digs and three aces.

Grant was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 13 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in 13 consecutive contests.

Grant has been performing well recently as they've won 11 of their last 13 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-9 record this season. As for Zion Christian, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-14-1.

Looking ahead, Grant will be taking part in a tournament against Kent City at 11:15 a.m. on Saturday. As for Zion Christian, they will challenge Potter's House Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
