Basketball Recap: Flowers Extends Winning Streak to Five

Flowers extended their winning streak to five games thanks to a huge performance from Tyrell Bowles. The Flowers Jaguars breezed by the Northwestern Wildcats to the tune of 82-35 on Tuesday thanks in part to Bowles, who dropped a double-double on 21 points and ten rebounds. His evening made it 14 games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points.

Flowers pushed their record up to 7-1 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Northwestern, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-5.

Flowers wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 78-58 victory against DuVal on the 16th. As for Northwestern, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, an 84-52 defeat against Wise on the 16th.
