            Football Recap: North Henderson Knights vs. Franklin Panthers        
        
		
        
        
            If North Henderson was riding high  fresh off their  54-0 takedown of East Henderson last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Knights came up short against  the Franklin Panthers on Friday, falling  42-21. The Knights were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at  28-7.

 Despite the  defeat, North Henderson saw an underclassman step up: sophomore  Parker Willis rushed for 165 yards and two  TDs while picking up 7.2 yards per carry. Willis is  crushing it when it comes to  rushing yards: he's   rushed for at least 138 every time he's  taken the field this season.
North Henderson has  traveled a rocky road recently, having  lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record  this season. As for Franklin, their victory was  their fourth straight on the road, which  pushed their record up to 6-2.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. North Henderson will welcome West Henderson  at 7:30  p.m.  on  the 24th. As for Franklin, after each having a week off, they and Smoky Mountain will shake off the rust and duke it out  at 7:30  p.m.  on  the 24th.
