Softball Recap: Hampshire Trojans vs. Frankfort Falcons

Hampshire had lost five straight at home, but on Tuesday they dropped their record down to 4-14 to make it six. They came up short against the Frankfort Falcons, falling 19-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Falcons this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 15-0 on April 1st.

Hampshire saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ava Call, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one double.

As for Frankfort, the win keeps they at an undefeated 21-0. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 runs on average this season.

On Frankfort's side, Dayahna Imes was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. Imes has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in four consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-2 with two RBI.
