Softball Recap: Hillsborough Takes a Loss

Hillsborough lost against Monroe Township back in May of 2019, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Raiders lost 12-6 to the Falcons. The Raiders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Hillsborough's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Monroe Township, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hillsborough will venture away from home to challenge Hightstown at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday. The Raiders' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Rams have averaged an impressive 6.6 runs per game this season. As for Monroe Township, they will head out to take on Spotswood at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
