Baseball Game Preview: Lowell Red Devils vs. Boone Grove Wolves

The Lowell Red Devils will square off against the Boone Grove Wolves at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Boone Grove took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Lowell, who comes in off a win.

Lowell will bounce into Wednesday's contest after beating Highland, who they had gone 2-7 against in their nine prior meetings. The Red Devils came out on top against the Trojans by a score of 5-2 on Friday. The Red Devils haven't had any issues with the Trojans recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Meanwhile, Boone Grove was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 4-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of Hanover Central.

Lowell now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Boone Grove, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-4.

Lowell came out on top in a nail-biter against Boone Grove when the teams last played back in April of 2024, sneaking past 2-1. Do the Red Devils have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Wolves turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
