College Park is 9-1 against Alhambra since March of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Falcons will look to defend their home field against the Bulldogs at 4:30 p.m. The last three games College Park has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

College Park gave up the first runs on Tuesday, but they didn't let that get them down. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past Benicia 4-3. That's two games straight that the Falcons have won by just one run.

Savannah Wilson was a major factor no matter where she played. She struck out six batters over 4.1 innings while giving up just one earned run off five hits (and only one walk). She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than one walk in six consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with one run and one RBI. Those three hits gave her a new career-high.

In other batting news, Alexis Weiler was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. That home run was her first of the season.

Meanwhile, Alhambra was able to grind out a solid victory over Acalanes on Tuesday, taking the game 5-1.

Willa Adler spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered a run (which was unearned) on five hits and racked up 13 Ks.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Genevieve Hernandez, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run. Another player making a difference was Payton Radke, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI.
