Baseball Recap: Keokuk Takes a Loss

Keokuk was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 15th straight loss. They lost 11-1 to the Fairfield Trojans. That's two games in a row now that the Chiefs have lost by exactly ten runs.

Keokuk's defeat dropped their record down to 1-16. As for Fairfield, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-6 record this season.

Keokuk will look to defend their home field on Wednesday against Central Lee at 7:00 p.m. The Hawks will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something the Chiefs surely won't give up without a fight. As for Fairfield, they have already played their next game, a 17-11 loss against Clear Creek-Amana on the 1st.
