Soccer Recap: Princess Anne Takes a Loss

If Princess Anne was feeling good fresh off their 6-0 takedown of Tallwood on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Cavaliers lost 7-0 to the Kellam Knights on Friday. While losing is never fun, Princess Anne can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Virginia soccer rankings (they are ranked 59th, while Kellam are ranked second).

Princess Anne's loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 7-6. As for Kellam, the win keeps they at an undefeated 11-0.

Coming up, Princess Anne is taking a road trip to face off against Northampton at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Kellam, they will face off against Lafayette at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Lafayette will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something Kellam surely won't give up without a fight.
