Softball Recap: Laurel Comes Up Short

Laurel was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 13th straight defeat. They lost 16-0 to the Stone Tomcats. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tomcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 20-1 back in March.

Laurel's loss dropped their record down to 2-14. As for Stone, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 15-9.

Coming up, Laurel will challenge Vancleave at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Stone has already played their next matchup (against Greene County), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
