Softball Recap: Junction Comes Up Short

Junction suffered their biggest loss since March 4th on Monday. They lost 12-2 to Goldthwaite. Junction was not able to repeat the success they had when they faced Goldthwaite earlier this season, when they won 6-3.

The defeat snapped Junction's winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 10-16 record. As for Goldthwaite, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 8-10 record this season.

Junction will look to defend their home field on Monday against Harper at 5:00 p.m. As for Goldthwaite, they are taking a road trip to take on Eula at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
