Football Recap: Finney Continues Home Dominance on Monday

Finney waltzed into their match on Monday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They put the hurt on the Geneva Panthers with a sharp 34-14 victory. The result was nothing new for the Falcons, who have now won five contests by 20 points or more so far this season.

Finney pushed their record up to 11-2-1 with the win, which was their eighth straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 9.8 points on average over those games. As for Geneva, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-6.

Coming up, Finney will head out to challenge Canisteo-Greenwood at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Falcons 10.9, the Chargers 4.4) so any points scored will be well earned. Geneva does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
