Basketball Game Recap: Fairmont Cardinals vs. Jackson County Central Huskies

Fairmont lost against Jackson County Central last Wednesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Fairmont Cardinals might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 66-50 to the Jackson County Central Huskies, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. While losing is never fun, the Cardinals can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Minnesota basketball rankings (they are ranked 118th, while the Huskies are ranked 28th).

This is the second loss in a row for Fairmont and nudges their season record down to 15-11. As for Jackson County Central, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 26-5.

Fairmont does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Jackson County Central, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 73-61 victory against Luverne on the 7th.
