Volleyball Recap: Universal Takes a Loss

Universal was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 2-0 to the Islamic Foundation Chargers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Chargers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 two weeks ago.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-6, 25-12.

Universal's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Islamic Foundation, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 12-3.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Universal is set to take on their familiar foe MCC at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Islamic Foundation will face off against rival Hinsdale Adventist Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
