Biggs hadn't beaten Live Oak on the road since March 23, 2017 but that history sure didn't bother them on Tuesday. The Wolverines walked away with a 13-9 victory over the Lions. For the Wolverines, this counts as revenge for the 9-2 win the Lions walked away with the last time they faced one another back in February of 2024.

Gracie Sheppard was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She struck out seven batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned (and seven unearned) runs off three hits. Sheppard was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.

In other batting news, Mailey Seipert was a standout: she went 3-for-4 with three RBI, one run, and one double. Emma Bermudez was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI.

Biggs kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 17 hits. They got six more hits than Live Oak's also-impressive total of 11.

Biggs is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-3-1 record this season. The team dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 13.7 runs. As for Live Oak, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-8.

Biggs has already played their next contest, an 8-0 victory against Hamilton on the 29th. As for Live Oak, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 12-5 defeat against Winters on the 25th.
