Tipton picks up 11th straight win at home

Recap: Tipton Blue Devils vs. Taylor Titans

The Tipton Blue Devils stacked a ninth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Saturday. They claimed a resounding 74-35 victory over Taylor at home. Winning may never get old, but Tipton sure is getting used to it with their fifth in a row.

Tipton had a senior duo take command as Nolan Swan scored 19 points along with eight assists and two steals and Jackson Money scored 20 points. It was the first time this season that Swan posted eight or more assists. Grady Carpenter was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with eight assists and eight rebounds.

Despite the defeat, Taylor saw an underclassman step up: Christian Hall scored 12 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Connor Binnion, who scored six points.

Tipton pushed their record up to 19-1 with that win, which was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 75.9 points per game. As for Taylor, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 14-7.

Tipton will head out on the road to square off against Oak Hill at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Tipton has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 282 points over their last four matches. As for Taylor, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Carroll at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
