Greenwich put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Westhill Vikings. The Cardinals have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Vikings, too.

The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was Greenwich who won the one that mattered. The final score came out to 25-15, 20-25, 25-20, 23-25, 15-8.

Kayah Armstrong paced Greenwich's offense, picking up 22 kills. Armstrong got some help from Victoria Sullivan and her 43 assists. Aleena Jacobsen controlled things from the service line, finishing with six aces.

Greenwich's victory bumped their record up to 17-0. As for Westhill, their loss dropped their record down to 3-5.

Greenwich has already played their next matchup, a 3-1 win against Warde on the 20th. As for Westhill, they will be playing at home against Trumbull at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
