Baseball Recap: East Comes Up Short

East was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 14-3 to the East Canton Hornets.

East saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Victor Rodriguez, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with one home run, three stolen bases, and two RBI. That home run marked the first that Rodriguez has launched this season.

East's defeat dropped their record down to 6-15. As for East Canton, their victory ended an eight-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-12.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. East will host Badger at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for East Canton, they will face off against Tuslaw at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
