Volleyball Recap: Chalene Granado's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Lopez over Los Fresnos

Lopez lost against Los Fresnos back in August of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Lobos fell 2-0 to the Falcons. The Lobos have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lopez lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Chalene Granado, who had ten assists and nine digs.

Lopez's defeat dropped their record down to 8-3. As for Los Fresnos, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-5.

Coincidentally, Lopez and Los Fresnos will both be playing IDEA Frontier College Prep the next time they take the court. The Lobos will head out to face IDEA Frontier College Prep at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Falcons will play them later in the day, at 3:00 p.m.
