Volleyball Recap: Carl Hayden Community Falls Despite Big Games from Martin Cervantes and Adrian Pita Guaydacan

Carl Hayden Community lost against McClintock back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Falcons came up short against the Chargers, falling 3-0. The Falcons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Carl Hayden Community took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-14, 25-21.

Carl Hayden Community's loss came despite strong showings from Adrian Pita Guaydacan and Martin Cervantes. Pita Guaydacan had ten digs, while Cervantes had.

Carl Hayden Community's defeat dropped their record down to 7-12. As for McClintock, they are on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 15 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-3 record this season.

Carl Hayden Community will square off against Fairfax at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Falcons are facing the Stampede at the right time seeing as the Stampede are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for McClintock, they will take on North at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
