Football Recap: Springfield Southeast Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Springfield Southeast had lost three straight at home, but on Friday they dropped down to 1-4 to make it four. They took a blow against the Jacksonville Crimsons, falling 49-14. The Spartans were not able to make up for their defeat to the Crimsons from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

As for Jacksonville, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-2. Their offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Jacksonville found their leader in sophomore Darren Henry, who rushed for 134 yards and three touchdowns on only six carries. Those 134 rushing yards set a new season-high mark for Henry. Jeremiah Jackson helped out on the ground, rushing for 106 yards.

Springfield Southeast has already played their next matchup, a 65-0 loss against Sacred Heart-Griffin on the 3rd. As for Jacksonville, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 28-17 defeat against Springfield on the 3rd.
