Soccer Recap: Danville Takes a Loss

Danville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 19th straight loss. They lost 5-0 to the Clements Colts. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Clements this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 6-0 on April 1st.

Danville's defeat dropped their record down to 1-20. As for Clements, their win bumped their record up to 5-10-1.

Coming up, Danville will square off against Lawrence County at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Clements, they will venture away from home to square off against Elkmont at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Clements will be up against Elkmont's rather soft defense (which has allowed 2.64 goals per match), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
