Softball Recap: Mount Juliet Christian Academy Comes Up Short

Mount Juliet Christian Academy had lost 17 straight on the road dating back to last season, but on Wednesday they dropped their record down to 0-14 to make it 18. They took a 7-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Nashville Christian Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 1-0 last Wednesday.

As for Nashville Christian, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-11 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.8 runs on average over those games.

For Nashville Christian's part, Addison Oberbreckling was excellent, going 1-for-2 with three RBI and one double.

As of now, neither Mount Juliet Christian Academy nor the Eagles have any future games scheduled.
