Softball Game Preview: San Jose Bulldogs vs. Overfelt Royals

San Jose hasn't had much luck against Overfelt recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Bulldogs are taking a road trip to face off against the Royals at 4:00 p.m. San Jose has given up an average of 12.3 runs per game this season, but Wednesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

On Wednesday, San Jose didn't have quite enough to beat Gunderson and fell 15-14.

Meanwhile, Overfelt was not able to break out of their rough patch last Friday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against Mt. Pleasant, falling 18-3.

San Jose's defeat dropped their record down to 10-5. As for Overfelt, their loss dropped their record down to 0-8.

San Jose took their victory against Overfelt in their previous matchup back in March by a conclusive 18-2 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bulldogs since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
